Who wears a helmet?
Started by User in Beginning Skiing, 169 Replies
I have about 8 or 9 bobble hats and I don't have a lid.

From what I've read there's more chance of sustaining a head injury by falling down the stairs than skiing. I have no intention of wearing a helmet around the home either.

Anyone have some advice......?

I know all are available in resort but at twice the price.

Oh and a bit of pasta.

will nip to the spar when we get there...

@dave mac.....thanks for the recipe, you need to go on come dine with me :-)

Cheese?!!! Now that is something that is definitely cheaper here!

Have fun! :D

They new how much I hated Avoriaz and they still took photo's and they only managed about 30 between them.... I think they must have spent their time trying to catch up to you

Maybe you shouldn't have kept telling everyone how stunning the buildings were.

You did also at one point say you was warming to them!

Tell the girls I miss them!

I didn't brave the elements today, I was too cold by the time I got to the bottom of the driveway.

Oh the joys of doing a season.
Me, I dont care what the temp is when I am skiing.
Guess you are in a position to pick and choose though

Well I do like to make the most of my days off usually, but I have had the last five days off and we've skied everyday off piste all the way and in very deep powder. It's the first time in two years that I have ached (from head to toe) and the cold weather was a good excuse for taking it easy today.
