I'm just happy to be going somewhere I can ski (and hopefully there will still be nearly 3m of snow when I go).

SO excited!

OA - your typing finger needs a good telling off

Very good advice. She has to make the decision, but my immediate thought when I first read this was not necessarily about her ability to ski, but also of those around her.

There are some inconsiderate out of control people around, I personally wouldn't risk it knowing what the consequences could be if someone crashed into me. Paranoid perhaps, but there's a lot a risk. What does her hubby/partner think?

I'm sure she will make the right decision for her and the baby, and I hope you all have a lovely holiday.

Have a lovely time.

The 0.5 sleep was the bit before I leave at 2.15am to drive to the Eurotunnel but 0.5 is actually a bit hopeful, I'm normally way too excited to sleep by then ! )

I NEVER sleep if I have to get up in the middle of the night, one year we went to sleep for about two hours and Mr Nelly woke up at 1.30am (about 3 hours before we actually had to get up) made a cup of tea and put the telly on and that was the end of sleep.
