Verbier, good for mixed abilities and convenient for lunchtime meet-ups? Not sure about that.
Amazing place but not he first I'd think of for someone returning to skiing. Zermatt would be the better of those two I'd suggest. |

It was the double T-bar that gave it away, we watched from the restaruant as someone fall off on the steep bit and took out every skier below. Took about 45mins before they sorted themselves out. How about this:

I included the Edelweiss in my list as one to avoid if on a budget. I only recommended it as worth a visit if you wanted something a bit special one day. One of the most expensive restaurants in the area but still value for money.
