I cant speel at the best of times but i think the last beer has tipped me over.

Two dyslexic skiers, Bill and Harry...?
...are standing at the top of the piste waiting for a clear run.
Bill: "I'm going to zog zeg down this hill and I'll get down before you."
Harry: "You don't zog zeg; you zag zug."
Bill: "Well, tell you what: You go down your way and I'll go down mine and when we get to the bottom we'll ask that chap with the sled down there," (points), "and we'll find out who was right.
Off they go and both arrive at the bottom at the same time. They go up to the chap with the sled.
Bill: "Excuse me, my friend Harry here reckons that you zag zug down the piste, and I reckon you zog zeg. Which of us is right please?"
"No good asking me; I'm a tobogganist."
Harry: "Oh! that's handy. I'll take 20 Lambert & Butler please."

Avoriaz is great for the skiing very french with minimul nightlife.
Basic accomadation and no room for a jacuzzi!!!

Just out of interest whats with the jacuzzi thing anyway?????

Look at snowcoach in La Fayet (st gervais) not on the slopes but they have a coach that does 2 runs each morning 5 min drive. good for beginers. 3/4 board. Breakfast 3 course evening meal with wine included and cakes and hot drinks when you return from the slopes. Sauna and hot tub and bar.
They can also arrange transfers.

Other than that try avoriaz apartments. Small self catering but cheap and about £50 return in a taxi ATS.

Ill be out teaching in Passo Tonle that week. Was there last half term and its not bad. Really modern lift system and much quiter than some of the better known resorts. For instance we had the choice of Bormio but apparently its manic half term.

Ponte de legno is nice as well and is linked in with a big new gondala.

I use Dog Tag year round multitrip they are pretty good and seem reasonably priced.
You get the insurance on a Dog tag (as the name suggests) which is really hand as its always round your neck.

I used to use the insurance through Ski club of great britain which i can highly recomend.
When i had a blood clot in Andorra they paid for the Andorra Hospital, Helicopter to Barcelona and 3 weeks in a Barcelona Hospital with operation plus getting home. No problems no hassel and easy to sort most impressed.
