Hi All,
Im flying to Calgary this Sat 24th Dec and have just been told that the only transfer to Fernie leaves at seven an hour after my flight lands at six and that an hour is not enough time to clear customs. Is anybody driving to Ferni from Calgary that wants to share the cost? Or does anybody know of any tour operators running a transfer? Any help much appreciated. Jonah |

For me Soldeu every time as long as you choose the correct hotel.
If your mainly beginners or mixed ability up to intermidite then I cant think of anywhere better. Most hotels are a few hundred meters from the lift and you can be on the slopes in an incrediably short time. All English ski school and very good progression.Probably the best ski school anywhere for beginners and intermidiets. Area has been increased by linking to Grau and Pas de la casa and links are pretty good for all abilities. Efficient lift system with hardly any queues except half term etc. It used to have a bad reputation as a cheap party town but thats in the past and its gone upmarket. Has a bad reputation for snow cover which is unfounded and actually last year it had a great season while France and some other countries really suffered. |

Thanks Guys never used the train so that will be a new experience. Ill also check out the website. I did have a quick look but what i saw was really expensive. Basi run the course Dave but no they never get involved in accomadation which is crazy seeing the amount of courses running over the two weeks they could easily get some good group discounts arranged.

Surely the whole point is to protect your head and therefore a good quality and fit are important otherwise you may as well not bother.
