get on the out side of a chairlift, dept on which foot you have strapped in, and good luck !
nah its really easy just point and go
but as above if you ride goofy you want to sit on the right side, and if you ride regular sit on the left side.
you so dont want to be in the middle %-6 !amazed !amazed !amazed

if i have goofy right (foot forward) and regular (left foot forward )the right way round

this sounds obvious, do something that scares you that you would not normaly do where you have no control, its usualy a rational fear of loosing control ! as we get old this devlops more and more, unless we do something which scares us occasionaly it will get worse !
i get in the car and let my wife drive, usualy works for me :D
usualy anything which puts a small amount of fear in some one is good and helps with self confidence,
i do my job everyday which involves scary moments so this helps me.

what is tog 24 ski gear like,
seems quite cheap :) its it nasty or will it do the job for the week ?
seems quite deacent stuff anyone any ideas ? :!

i have been sking since about the age of 4 every year till i was 18, with ski groups and clubs and none of them had a problem with boarders or so it seemed,
then i tried snowboarding at the age of 15 they never seemed to have a problem with the devide as we used to go with other skiers and boarders as well,

How ever last year went sking for the 1st time in 10 years with 67 other skiers, freinds and family or my wifes side, who with quite a vengance hate boarders, but cannot justify why they do !
i find this crazy,
iam sure its just (as with most things) a small minority who carry this grudge (for what ever reason)
the reason i say this
it seems to be a old wives tale thats passed on that we dont get on and like each other, some mature people who are new to the sport seem to think its cool to adopt this attitude,
the reason i say this as 50% 0f the group had never skied before, yet held this grudge ?
purly because a small minority did not like boarders, this disslike was passed on to the new people,
