never been to Courmayeur, but you will have a great time in Chamonix. I would agree that Le Tour would be a good first day, or even Les Houches.
Have a good one. |

there is something on all the time on the red button on BBC, and its also on Eurosport.
Hopefully the mens downhill will get started tomorrow, and the snowboard cross. |

yeah, i agree - i wouldnt go without insurance. Too risky if anything happens, the last thing you want is a delay in getting medical attention.
I have used the usual sites like money supermarket, compare the market etc in the past but now have worldwide travel insurance, including winter sports, through my bank account. WOrth checking whether your bank account provides any cover, but i know that a lot of them wont cover winter sports |

looks like another great line up this year...its a pity i am in Mayrhofen 3 weeks to early. ACtually, its fine, the sooner I get there the better as far as i'm concerned!! Starting to count the days.

either way, good news for those heading to Bansko soon. Its a good resort when there's plenty of the white stuff.

yeah i agree about Cervinia and the lack of queues there - its also a brilliant resort with loads of blue and red runs to check out. The area lift pass also covers Zermatt, which is great as well, but a little busier.
It definately is a consideration when choosing a resort - that one week of the year is so precious, that you want to maximise time on piste, and minimise time in queues! |
