My two favourite resorts by a long way. Tignes is higher and I think that would be the decider for me in April.

Is there a website that will do this for Tignes?

Anybody but ESF.
I have used them several times both in groups and private lessons. Disappointed every time so ne'er use them now. |

I have come to the conclusion that colour matters much less than condition.
A couple of weeks ago in VDI, I skied the blue Diebold followed immediately by the black Face (World championship run). The blue was horrible, icy and very difficult. This Diebold run is always horrible and. Don't know how they can call it blue. Anyway, the face was in great condition, and was straightforward in comparison. |

For me, the important hings are -
1. Snow sure 2. Ski in and out accommodation 3. Large ski area. This means I generally stick to Espace Killy, Three Valleys and Paradiski. I was looking for somewhere new, and still am, but no where sees to compare with these areas as far as I can see. |

Do you not generate pressure on the front of the ski by pushing your shin into the front of the boot rather than transferring weight onto your toes?

In Northern Ireland we can have two passports. Both British and Irish.
I have never don this, but think I ow will. Seems like a real pain if you lose one. |

I am looking recommendations on where to ski.
I have been to VDI, Tignes, Les Arc & Val Thorens and looking for somewhere different. Requirements are - A reasonable from Geneva. The only airport I can get to from my regional airport. Snow sure. I don't want to be worried whether there I snow or nt. Preferably ski to the door. Don't like messing around with buses or walking too far. Preferably self catering. All the above resorts meet these requirements, but want something different. I am interested in a resort recommendation rather than specific accommodation. Thanks |
