I've learnt so much this season. I now carve reds where I used to side slip and have discovered the joys of off piste and moguls.

Quick question. How I'd u make so much progress? Lessons?

I suspect that my skis were taken by mistake rather than by malice.
But the result is the same, no skis.

Will the staff actually allow you to go down on a chair?
Would they not have to stop the lift at each end?

Hi,
As some of you may have read in another post, I had my skis stolen while at lunch. Luckily I was at the top of a slope with a bubble that could get me don to te resort.

What happens if there is no obvious way down when you have no skis?
Can chair lifts be user?
The staff on the mountain were absolutely no help at all.

Thanks

I hired with Skiset. Sorting ski insurance had an excess of 150 Euro. Had we don this while booking, there would have been no excess. However, I can't remember the online price to compare.

Lotta insurefor do 16 days skiing a year. I spose 18 would be better as it'd cover 3 weeksworth. That said, if you didnt claim on yr first trip, how would they know you'd already been??????

Had my skis nicked yesterday while at lunch. Glad I had the shop insurance.
The bigger problem is how to get down the mountain without skis. I was lucky as I was at a gondala that I rode down. Not sure what I would have done otherwise.
