Hi everyone,
has any one got any experience of skiing in Hopfgarten in Austria - variety of runs and reliability, particularly at the beginning of season around christmas. Also any reviews of Gasthof Unterbrau which is available through Firstchoice? I usually ski in France and Italy but said I'd take my son to Austria to practice his German before his exams next year! thanks guys Sharon ) |

I would highly recommend using www.francealacarte.com. They are an incoming operator in France based in Toulouse with packages to the Pyrenees and the Alps which include ski pass and car. because they are not UK tour operators ripping off families during school holidays they prices are pretty static ony adjusting slightly for low/medium/high season. The packages don't include flights but even during holidays you should get a reasonable price flight with the low-cost carriers. The deals on their site are a few samples so do email or phone Sylvie or Simon and they will give you a price for a package tailormade for you at very reasonable prices. It's my 3rd year wil them and tehy are fab.
