Excellent news. Welcome to the forum Chemmy, I will really look forward to any news from you.

I am so looking forward to seeing you back on the snow this coming season, it has been way too long just hearing you comment on Eurosport and not watching you ski.

Wishing you all the best for the season. FQ.

  Holy cow Pavel, the flooding must be bad if you need to move to the third floor

Seriously, I hope you do not suffer much damage, nor your friends and neighbours. Good luck.
Many thanks for the heads up Tony, we will take a closer look at Zurs as well.

Equally, try contacting Volkl direct. They should be able to put you in touch with someone if they do not have any. http://www.voelkl.com/contact.html

OK, can of worms time. I assume you need one to replace a broken or damaged ski for a pair you already have. I was under the impression that skis were "matched" together when made. Is this no longer the case with modern skis, or is it simply that most skiers would not notice the difference?

I ask, as it may be better for you to consider replacing the pair. Perhaps someone with greater knowledge on the subject may post a reply.

Good luck anyway. Oh and welcome to the forum :D

Surely there is plenty of inspiration for bin men on this thread.
What are the FIVE most common ski injuries?
Started by Pavelski in Ski Fitness, 11 Replies
1. Hangovers
2. Broken arm caused by falling off bar while dancing when drunk.
3. Broken ankle caused by falling down stairs when leaving bar whilst drunk.
4. Hypothermia caused by being unable to find your way back to apartment because you are too drunk to remember.
5. Fractured skull caused by not paying attention as you walk under a lift after leaving the bar.

 Over the years all of those have happened to someone I have been with, apart from the hypothermia. That caused the death of a young brit in Andorra. He got lost and simply sat down and went to sleep
