:( Have seen what that is like Chemmy, by brother has broken his leg twice now, 1st resulting in a plate and screws just a few inched below his knee, and the second meant he had to have a titanium rod inserted into the bone above the knee.
Every so often, it causes him quite a bit of grief too. But he perseveres and still enjoys his skiing  Hope your pain does not last too long, try sticking your leg in a snow drift for a bit, that should help numb it for you  |

  €15 to drive to Tignes from the UK! What are you driving, one of these? ![]() |

They also do that at the Banff resorts of Sunshine Mountain and Lake Louise. Agree with you, they were excellent guides and a great way to be shown round the mountains. |

Wow, no sooner do I express my wish to see your happy face, and bingo, the picture appears :D Makes me wonder what I should wish to see next   |

Look on the bright side Chemmy, it should be easier to adjust to the new equipment, as you have had such a gap from the previous skis.
Wish I had been there to see the huge grin you must have had on your face :-) Enjoy your training and let those crazy canucks know they are now going to have someone else to try to beat, as well as Lindsey and Jules  |
