The first significant snowfall hit Utah's ski resorts this past weekend. Our maountins picked up over 12” of new snow. On top of this, Park City Mountain Resort, in preparation for opening day on Friday, November 16th, has begun to make snow as overnight temperatures drop into the 20s.

Deer Valley Resort

Consistently rated one of the top ski resorts in North America by Ski Magazine, Deer Valley Resort is the ultimate for ski area service. Without fail, Deer Valley ranked #1 in dining, guest service and mountain grooming. I always say ?eating a meal at Deer Valley is the best meal you will ever have with your ski boots on?. Deer Valley has 21 lifts and 90 ski runs. Deer Valley is a skiers only mountain and snowboards are not allowed. In fact, the snow grooming at Deer Valley will make you ski better than ever ? hero snow! Our 2 bedroom condo is very close - less than seven tenths of a mile from Deer Valley Snow Park Lodge and ski lifts. It's nice to know that the Snow Park Lodge offers a free ski storage so you don't have to haul your skis back and forth to the condo - that's quality service!

Park City Mountain Resort

You can enjoy thirty three hundred acres giving you a tremendous variety of runs. The views are outstanding. You can sample bowls, gladed tree runs, steep chutes and perfectly groomed gentle cruising slopes. Ski Magazine consistently ranks Park City in their top 10. Transworld Snowboarding rates the terrain parks supreme. There are 16 lifts and 104 runs. 7 peaks of fun and you can ski to Old Town Park City for restaurants, clubs, art galleries and shopping. If that?s not enough ? you can ice skate at the base area. The free Park City shuttle bus picks up at the bottom of our hill every 20 minutes and takes you from our condo to Park Ctiy Mountain Resort.

The Canyons

The Canyons is conveniently located on a four lane highway roughly three miles north of the town of Park City. The Canyons is currently the biggest ski resort in Utah, offering plenty of variety for your vacation. The area is comprised of eight mountains with thirty seven hundred acres of terrain to meet the needs of skiers and snowboarders. The Canyons boasts of one hundred fifty two trails and seventeen lifts. Crowds are easily dispersed across the mountain and on a stormy day this a perfect place to catch some untracked Utah Powder. The free Park City shuttle bus picks up riders at the bottom of our hill every 20 minutes and takes you over to The Canyons for a fun day of skiing or snowboarding.

Did you know that there are eleven ski resorts within a one hour drive of the Salt Lake City International Airport.
