Arabba is a great base not for just off piste but on piste too. You have access to 100's of kilometers of piste that revolve around the sella mountain region. Have a look in http://www.snowheads.com and you will find quite a lot of information on the area. Also if you have furtehr questions there is a good chance you will get answers over there too.
