oh yes

but you need to work your up to it, you can't just roll in, you need to consume a bottle of schnapps prior to entry, then once inside proceed to act like you don't have to get up and ski the following morning.

It's very bizarre to see the germans and dutch the following morning steaming(literally) past you on the slopes. Good job there's not a drink/skiing limit (yet) :-o

Thought about dune skiing in the desert.....?????

Funny that, some friends we met in Finkenberg this year have just moved out to Riyadh and I asked him the same question :!: I think for the purposes of dune skiing a board may be the better option, just don't tell anyone will you :?:

Egypt 27th Jan

Nice. Sharm, I imagine? Be prepared, as the sea and pools are cold that time of year, despite the warm air temps.

Not Sharm, Taba Heights, a bit further up the Red Sea towards the border with Jordan/Israel. We've friends in Israel and the better half and I quite fancy going to Petra in Jordan. The wife is as yet unconvinced about a winter trip as well but I'm working on that and planning Obergurgl 27th March. If all else fails we may just see how the season goes and book a last minute trip :D What about you, back to Mayrhofen this year :?:

Weekly pass prices vary immensely - where's that for? If it's Verbier you should buy it now... but if it's for Antagnod... maybe not... 8)

Its for Ruka/Finland

still sounds expensive when you consider the exchange rate right now
