Dont mean to hijack your thread but thought it would be useful information for you also.

I was just wondering if anyone knew where to hire the snow chains from in UK (preferrably Newcastle/Durham), are car hire companies the only place that hire them? We will be taking our own car. Would consider buying them like from ebay or elsewhere but as wanderer says, do you really want to spend all that time loooking for supermarket in europe. I can just see hubbys face as we start trailing round looking for supermarkets in a foreign country. Not a happy bunny would be the understatement of the year lol

are theses just items that you would take to the slopes with you to be used on the slopes whilst skiing or items that will be used on the holiday all week, on OR off the slopes?

So do I need to gather my answers now? was the question what are 10 items women need for skiing? and what is Dave going to post tomorrow?

I was looking at the forum at work and there was definitly no jacket in the post, (thats why I was wondering where it was) but also there were no emoticons, they were all crossed out. I know from other posts that others have been having difficulties with the emoticons so maybe they too might not see the jacket.

I am at home now and I can see the jacket in the post(very nice!)

Where is it? Or is the jacket hidden along with the stickers lol?

Will we be given a certain amount of time to answer the questions and are we pm'ing them to you or putting our answers on the forum (I dont want you lot copying my answers!) lol

ooh I cant wait!! Only 5 more stone to lose before I have a chance of actually fitting into it before feb so I can wear it when we go to Niederau. Better source out the cabbage soup diet. :wink:

tony that seems like an excellent price.

I am just hoping everyone likes skiing and I will not be going during the school hols next time. I will take the kids out of shcool.

hopefully we will be able to pick up a bargain too.

then again if it all goes pear shaped I will be advertising for a ski buddy on here cause whether they like it or not I will be continuing going skiing for the forseeable future even if it is on me own! lol

going to niederau for 1 week in february. we will have 3 kids with us ages 8. 10 & 13
