Hi all.
Has anyone else become excited like a 7 year old at Christmas and is constantly checking weather, looking at bar reviews and the best slopes to tackle for their forthcoming ski trip? I'm only wondering if there were any others out there like me!!!! Cheers, and here's for good snow for us all. Stevie |

Well personally I love them both, and in each country there are pros and cons. I'm, not a big fan of Chamonix because I like the ski in ski out of other resorts, and Tignes I can give a miss in the future.
Overall, when the sun is shining, and the skis are on then the World is a happy place....and then beer with live music after? Perfect, regardless of country!!!! |

I used the Manchester store a few years ago when I was replacing my boots, and the chap who served me was that bad I asked to be left alone so I could sort it myself! I might have been unlucky, and since then I have had no problems in there. I guess it's like anything, if you're unhappy with the service, or there is something that just doesn't seem right then just walk away. Good luck in getting your youngling sorted. Stevie |

Worth a look for 2018 I think. We've booked with skiworld for the 8th year in a row and this year they have been simply terrible, which is a shame.
Still can't wait to go though!!!!! |

It's a shame, but the Manchester one was pretty much stores selling end of line stock, and appears to be a shadow of the London show.
I will still miss coming away with bags of stickers and leaflets for places that are way down my chosen destinations though! And it was a bit of a staging point for my own ski trip. If they organisers put more effort in, a lot more people who have come (my opinion). |

We put our son in an ESF school in Morzine in March. We took him out after 3 days as the school were putting it bluntly useless. I wonder if it's the reputation of the ESF being unhelpful with non-French (rude, unhelpful and favouring the French children, which is exactly what I saw) that has seen numbers drop and now they are looking at apportioning blame onto others.
Maybe this isn't the case, but after what I witnessed with my boy, I will never put him with them again. |
