Hi all
I've seen a fair bit of negativity about the present Covid-19 situation in relation to skiing next season. Hang in there and fingers crossed we will all be out on the slopes in the winter. We've just booked for Cervinia, if it happens then great but if it doesn't then it's for reasons out of our control. Apologies for sounding like I'm spreading the good word, it's just we all love our skiing and once everyone is safe we can all ski beyond our ability levels and drink/sing far too much once again. Keep smiling ski buddies, stay safe. Steve. |

It might be me being a little cynical but is this really needed? The amount of times I have been on a slope drenched through working hard are too many to remember. Could this be like skiing with an electric blanket, even in January opening the vents on clothing has become the norm. And we have so many quality layers to wear do people really suffer from cold that badly? Only my thoughts of course.
Hope you are all well and staying safe. Steve |

I might be wrong but I think Nevica is actually owned by Sports Direct now which is why it is so cheap. I have some thermals by them which are fine. Good luck in your choosing. Sports direct also sell end of line equipment by other makes cheap, keep an eye out for their offers too.

I have been there 5 times and stayed in Mottaret on each occasion. We have found it a great central location, easy to head to both Courchevel and VT valleys and a quick green ski down to the main Meribel hub.
Wherever you choose you should be fine as the linkage between areas is very good. Each area has its own merits (Les Menuires is as stated the cheapest as an example) but for a central base I really couldn't look past the highest resort in the middle valley! Good luck with whichever you choose. |

Hi Angela, thanks for your reply and that's a kind offer to advise on the area. We've been to Les Arcs before so had a bit of time in LP but local advice is something not to turn down. I will be in touch before long to get some info if that's ok? Thanks, Steve

Hi all
We have just booked for La Plagne 1800 for next year. Our chalet looks about 400m from the lifts, does anyone know if there are ski equipment lockers to rent please? There is a storage website but it's nondescript and they haven't replied to an email. I know 400m isn't far but it would be nice to know just in case we decide to be lazy (or knackered after skiing all day!) Thanks Steve |

Hi all who read this
We had a brilliant time in Val Gardena, so much so we are off again next year. Many thanks for all the great info people gave us, a lot of it came in really handy. Have a great season everyone, stay safe and enjoy the slopes. Steve |
