I'll be too excited for the final sleep.
I'm going to Soll in the morning and agree that yeah it doesn't look great but better than 2007. That said in 2007 all the runs were open even down to the valley, it just didn't look as pretty.
24 hours to go. I predict this will be the longest day at work ever.
Soll - Anyone been this season?

Looks like it's chucking it down with rain in Soll today. I'm going out on Saturday and although I'm pretty gutted I've been there when there was bugger all snow and it was still brilliant (at least that's what I keep telling myself).

Bandit's right. Insurance company's will use any excuse not to pay out and they could easily say that the 2 or 3 units in a Gluewein is enough to make you unsafe on skis.

I guess you have to ask yourself is that beer worth the five grand it could cost to cart you off the mountain with a broken whatever.

Best thing is to have a couple of beers then you won't care.
Arrgghh Rain!

I'm not flashy enough to have my own skis yet (maybe in a couple of years) so wax won't be an issue for me. My main worry was the rain would wash all the snow away. Doesn't sound like this will happen.

Thanks folks!

Please can someone tell me it will all be ok?

SkiSet are brilliant, here's the link which gets you 20% off the list price: http://www.skiset.com/partner/j2ski/

Also when you book independently the shops are always much more professional and you don't get the insane scrum on a Saturday morning when everyone is trying on boots at the same time.
