I only stay in non smoking buildings as well
I cant stand stale smoke and smelling of it. It always surprises me when I see people smoking in the mountains with all the clean fresh air. |

I have been to les Gets the last two years and I an sure you will have a great time. The first time we drove from England. Last year we did a transfer with
http://www.alp-line.com/ I would certain recommend them . They usually have an English speaking driver to pick you up. This year we are going to Oz en Oisans and have hired a hire car from Geneva airport from http://www.auto-europe.co.uk/ |

I had the same problem with my Daughter a couple of years ago. I bought the mini skis from my local ski shop. They usually do them in three sizes 50cm / 60cm and 70cm. They should be chest height. They have straps which fit to normal snowboots / walking boots.

Hi
I went there about 10 years ago for my Honeymoon. Did a two centre with Lake Louise. Stayed at the Jasper Park lodge which is just outside the town. I really liked the town, it has a sort of wild west feeling. The ski area is Marmot basin which is outside the town of Jasper but most Hotels have buses to it or you need a hire car. The ski resort is well organised. The Car parks are along the edge of the ski slopes so you can park the car and then ski down. When we were there Jasper / Marmot Basin was renowned for power cuts hopefully this has been fixed over the years. Let me know if I can give you anymore imformation.. |

Hi
I would check with your Doctor / Midwife to see if they think it would be safe for you to do so. My personnel opinion is that it might be risky as you will be less than three months gone. I did go skiing when I was Five months pregnant as my Doctor said it would be ok as long as I was careful. In the end I only managed to ski twice the whole time I was their as it was just too tiring carrying the extra weight. I still had a great holiday though dispite not skiing. |

This year we used http://www.alp-line.com/from Geneva to Les Gets. There price for 4 adults from Geneva to Samoens for a return would be roughly 340 euros. We had no problems with them and would certainly use them again.

Thanks for the replies so far.
Admin - We are going to Oz en Oisans. I have found a couple of Private transfers from Geneoble airport but not Geneva. We choose Geneva rather than Geneoble because easyjets flight times were better. The flight gets in earlier enough, even with the longer transfer to sort out lift passes, ski hire for the kids and food the day we get there. |
