I am trying to book transport from Geneva to Samoens on Christmas Eve, so far I have tried to access the website www.altibus.com as I have been informed that this is the best and most cost effective solution for our party of 4 adults, unfortunately the website does not appear to be working. If anyone has travelled the route from Geneva to Samoens in the past I would be very appreciative of any advice on the best mode of transport for the journey (FYI we will be arriving around 9.30am in Geneva).

Hi, I came across these folks a few weeks ago. Looks like you could get a whole minibus for your group for 380 Euros return. I have not used them, though I have used Altibus IIRC. In the meantime here's the linky....

Tried a couple of times to get my altibus link to load Xmas dates, and it looks as though the site has not been constructed. When I tried it again using the French version, I was transferred to...

Making a guess, it would seem that the operator covering Samoens is SAT LEMAN this winter. The english version does work,and gets you to this....

Hi Marv - I've booked the same return journey in January with www.gomassif.com
Check them out. I looked at buses but couldn't get back to the airport in time for my return flight. Also, Go-Massif weren't that much more expensive, especially considering the extra convenience of a private transfer.

This year we used http://www.alp-line.com/from Geneva to Les Gets. There price for 4 adults from Geneva to Samoens for a return would be roughly 340 euros. We had no problems with them and would certainly use them again.

I know someone else has recommended them but I also would suggest Gomassif for Geneva/Samoens
We used them last year for a short break and have also booked them for same in Jan 08.
They aren't as expensive as some private transfers and they are reliable and friendly.
We are paying 590euros for 12 adults.
They will store your bags for you if you want to go straight to the Airport.
Look around, i have, but could not find anyone that matched them.

Thank you for all your suggestions, I checked them all out and the best solution looks to be using the people who own the apartment we will be staying in, they have offered to pick us up for 95 euros which seems like a bargain!!
