I'd worry about this type of 'goggle' fogging up. I know some styles have a vent arrangement but I have my doubts about their capabilities.
The pro cross country skiers & biathletes seem to use them a lot so there must be some merit in them. Maybe a case, as always, of making sure you get the right style / make. |

I've used various HH, Icebreaker, Schoeffel, Musto base layers for various sports and all have done the job. If you want budget I think Aldi are doing a ski wear promo this week.
How about TK Maxx? There's lots of support on here for their range. For me, the essential factor that I look for is that the base layer has wicking qualities. Otherwise, you'll end up with soaking underlayers by the end of the day. For the little 'uns I think I'd go for a cheaper option especially as they're likely to grow out of them quickly. |

Glad you enjoyed it tino. Not long for me. I see the lifts were closed today because of the high winds. What were piste conditions like? We'll be heading over towards Kleine Scheidegg to watch the lauberhorn downhill but will probably ski m the early part of our week on First as we're having some lessons.
Where's your recommends for a little drinky poo? Jim |

Bugger! Shouldn't have looked at the forum until later. Have recorded the races on Sky+. Bode getting down the hill is a novelty this season. |

That's harsh Ross. Realised my error very quickly and changed it. Will pay more attention next time. Sorry. |

Think you missed out on my subtle humour. I presume that if approaching 40 I'm not old enough to be a member of this forum then I should start acting my age. Sorry, but that's not going to happen. We mostly enjoy good banter and a gentle ribbing on here. If you don't like it you don't have to stay. |
