Forget about going abroad for the time being.....
Has anyone been able to ski Scotland yet? if so how is the snow there and do we think due the amount we have already had, Scotland will be set up now for the coming season? Lets hope so. ) |

Meribel and la Tania has some great tree lined runs, and also Champousson / Morgin in switzerland has some very good tree lined routes... all though these are relatively small areas.

Hi everyone, im currently looking for a 2nd ski break for next season. Ideally looking to spend no more than £500 inc pass and the Les Deux Alpes Ski Resort keeps on appearing in my searches as having good deals.
Please can anyone tell me what the resort/skiing is like? Is there enough variety for a week? Im looking to go 2nd week march. thanks :D |

Ive already bought them now, i decided not to spend as much as what a pair scotts would cost... Ive already spent a fortune this time and i havent even got to the white stuff yet... I have to say though i got them at a very good price £345 inc bindings. cant grumble at all, rentals were going to be around the £100 mark for a week... Happy with my decision and now cannot wait to use them :D |

Hi all, looking into the new Head i peak range and it seems the 78's come in 2 different styles. 1 with a top sheet of metal and 1 without. Will the metal just stiffen the ski up and if so which version would be better for me?
I like to occasionally ski fast but not at warp speed, im an advanced intermediate looking to improve all over the mountain. Im after a all mountain ski which i can improve on, looking for something that will initiate turns quicker edge to edge etc Thanks |

Also, If your have SkyHD there is a channel called rush HD, they have documentary type shows that follow professionals traveling and filming for segments which is quite cool. Just touching on this, Rush HD is amazing. The pic quality is out of this world. The best programme on this channel is Nomads. There is almost always a ski related show on this channel id say daily... PS....Too early for a snow dance? Ive been doing mine for the last 6 months... |
