Just got back from Schladming again and the conditions were brilliant. There is still loads of skiing there relatively locally that we have not done but that is party due to the fact we have our favourite mountains. Schladming is a working town and not just a ski resort and as a result alot of Austrian city folk ski there. Brits are about but not in the numbers you will find elsewhere.
Two weeks as a lone traveller and 'what is there to do?' You may have to do a little research for yourself on that as because we go for a week, ski and abit of Apres are all we need. I am more than happy to answer any direct queries you may have so PM me. |

You say that, our group of 'youth' 10-16 yr olds in Mayrhofen couldnt help themselves and had a snow ball fight and tried to build a snowman in front garden of our Chalet. The owner complained to the rep saying it wasnt a play park and that it made the front garden look untidy!! Grumpy Old Git!!! :x

Good for her, you watch I'll be proved wrong now, busy possibly but there wont be masses around the Planai mountain as the ski school area for the resort is to the right of the Planai as you look at it between Hochwurzen and Rohrnmoos, probably not spelt right but you will see where i mean on the map.
