Probably crap in wherever it is all the time then, Valentines day is an easy ride for any place that knows what they are doing. Two's are easy, it's the groups of 10, 15 20 that cause more problems service wise. Dave (man with pretty full restaurant most nights and just had a manic sessiosn tonight, tomorrow is going to be a cruise) |

Gatwick maybe ok but some airports don't allow Ski boots as hand luggage, so beware not to get caught out. Bristol doesn't and I've seen several people being sent back to check-in from security beacause they tried to ignore the prominent signs posted round the check-in area and carry them on. Dave |

I'll be there part of that week and have a hire car so might pop over to Soll one of the days if you want a lift. Dave |

Speaking of beer prices, last year we frequented a dansish/viking bar ??? (something like that - maybe someone else on here can give it it's proper name) near the top of the village, they had a happy hour about 5-7 and we were getting 3 large beers for 12 Euros, not sure about this seasons prices, but that worked for us.

If your thinking of moving around (if your railpass allows) I did 2 days in Flumserberg (about an hour from Zurich heading towards Davos area) and had an enjoyable time. You can ski pretty well all of it in a day, but it's a nice little resort and very quiet outwith weekends.
