Contemplating hitting the dry slope on Wednesday night. I haven't been since last winter (last summer I was there twice a week!) so should be entertaining for the first few runs.

I had a form of the dreaded 'M' word when I was young. Not nice. I can't remember what medicine I had to take but it's put me off pink blancmange for life.

How about a 'snow package' or something similar from these people;
http://www.actioncameras.co.uk/acatalog/Ski_Package_.html I bought a similar product from Samsung which I've always been pleased with although I think there's issues with the Samsung Minikets and Macs. I would recommend going for a camera that writes to a memory card rather than tapes or DVD's. So much less hassle and they're so cheap these days. If you've lots of time to kill then also get yourself a decent video editing package like Sony Vegas. It will allow you to while away hours and hours on a 60 second vid! Also, don't forget that the cold will give the battery life a good kicking so keep the camera in an inside pocket or down your pants or something :D |

Forums are funny things. You can be completely anonymous but still feel self unsure.

I'm not sure if it's the same thing but we met a British Couple living in Mayrhofen who's dog would help pull them up the slopes and was trained to run down the edge of the piste as it's owners skiied down.
I've had a word with our two cats but they aint having any of it. As you can probably see from my avatar! |
