I've been to the NEC one twice but probably wont bother again. It annoys me that you have to pay entry to what is basically a load of companies trying to sell their stuff. They should be paying us to go!

The plus side with the NEC is that it's fairly close to Tamworth Snowdome so you can at least get some runs in.

I think the black you're own about Skidaddle was easier than the red next to it.

The HK isn't really a problem at all if it's got snow on it. When we did it, it was the morning of the first day of the holiday and it had a good few inches of snow cover so we just went for it. Like I said is was our first every black run and it felt fine. As the week went on and the snow became ice it looked lethal. By some kind of twisted fate, the steepest part is also the narrowest so most people just run out of piste when it gets steep and end up stuck on the side. Get your turns in and it will be fine - providing the conditions are good.
