I'm not at all religious and have no idea why I started this thread. I thought about giving up chocolate but had forgotten by lunch time

I've never given anything up for Lent before. Anyone else? Apparently you can indulge every Sunday until Easter.

I forgot it was pancake day today and now I'm really hungry!

Should be spending some time with my husband, just having a few minutes to catch up on here before Battlestar Galactica :)

I'm a newbie on here too and have become a regualar addict.

I'm originally a midlander Amanda - not lived there for some time though. Now live in Hampshire with my hubby who has 2 children, they spend a fair amount of time with us, are nearly 10 and 13 - we are incredibly selfish in not taking the children skiing as they aren't interested at the moment, even though we ask them on a regular basis. My step daughter seems to think she can go on a skiing holiday and go swimming all day, every day :?:

I work at an architects as a secretary and spend most of my spare time on here much to the annoyance of my husband.

I spent much of my late teens and 20s working in ski resorts in France and Austria, I'm a big fan of skiing and boarding, although have recently reverted back to skiing after 12 years of boarding, now I'm a retired seasonaire I've joined the ranks of 'punters' on annual ski trips which I spend all year looking forward to.

If I win the lottery I'll take you all to my chalet for a big knees up.
