We have an apartment in La Tania www.latania-apartments.co.uk which is just up the road from Le Praz. I'd say it would be no problem in the day via the ski lifts, but its quite a trek via road to 1850, and I wouldn't like to think I'd got to walk if i missed the last bus. There are some taxis, but these are pretty expensive! I've never had a night out in le praz, but was there a few weeks ago in the afternoon & there seems to be quite a few bars & restaurants there so you may find that you don't need to go to 1850 as often as you think

We've just bought an apartment in La Tania which is in the heart of the 3 Valleys in France.
