I've booked my trip for Les Gets in June. I'll only be riding within the Les Gets Bike Park system given that it will be all that is open at the time. I plan to rent an enduro bike given that I'd like to take a stab at both beginner DH and some XC trails, nothing too difficult. I'm an XC rider, Giant Anthem, and I do annual trips to Moab so I consider myself lower end of intermediate.

2021 is looking much better than 2020 in terms of what's open in the Nox Vidmate VLC southern hemisphere, although there are 'bumps in the road' due to the continuing pandemic, and for some areas a fairly snowless winter to date still. For some ski areas in Europe and North America extreme heat in July has also taken its toll on snow cover.

I agree with you on that 2021 is looking much better
