Its a vicious circle, the better you edge the better the carve, the better the carve the confidence grows, the more confident you become the faster you go, the faster you go the better the edge & so on.
Eventually you crash & burn & the circle is broken so the confidence building thing starts again. Finn |

Correction from original statement, only 30% of the resorts lifts were operating & 40% of the resort runs open during Xmas week high season. Ripped off.
Booked up for La Plange next season :D Finn |

On our last trip to Austria only 40% of the resorts lifts & pistes were open for the ten days we were there, the resort lift company did not see this a problem & continued to charge full price for the area lift pass.
I believe the lift company have a responsibility to offer value for money & should adjust lift pass pricing based on the amount of skiable piste on offer. I feel a little ripped off after spending just short of £600 on family lift passes to ski what amounted to 25km of skiable piste. Finn |

D2B clothing is excellent value, our youngest son looked rather dapper in his ski kit on the slopes earlier this season & never complained once about being cold. I wouldn't hesitate in purchasing more of there products.

Thanks for the reports, all of them very positive. Going to try MW especially now that I know the children are well catered for.

Going skiing tomorrow in the Lakes, really good snow coverage on Blake Fell which should return about 200 to 300M. Bit of a hike to get up & down though, might bump into the odd bemused fell walker. :D
