Once saw two 15ft icicles fall from the the roof of a bank, reckon they would do some damage if they hit you on the sweede. :P irony of the situation was a sign informing customers to remove helmets before entering the bank. :twisted:

Liable actions in Germany are on the increase where vehicles involved in accidents not fitted with winter tyres have been pursued through the civil courts even when the blame for causing the accident was with the other party. I think when driving in these countries in a hire car the insurance on the rental vehicle would cover all liable & the rental company insurer would insist on winter tyres being fitted. My guess is the hire cars would come with winter tyres fitted as standard & the levy your being asked to pay is just a way of making a quick euro by the hire company.

Blimey are they still going :shock: Dan McCafferty on lead vocals still going strong. Really good going to see bands from the seventies that I was too young to see first time around. Mind you some of the old rockers in the crowd were a bit scary looking, reminded me of orcs. Finn |

I applied for one of those 0% Credit Cards & was declined because I have no credit history! :cry: I tried to explain that I desperate & needed another skiing fix, but it counted for nothing as the person on the other end of the phone was a beach dweller.

No more skiing holidays for me this year so I am logging out until October when the build up to the new season starts again! Its just way to depressing reading about everyone having a good time. Bye for now. :cry: :cry:
