The only killer is the transfer as it is a good 3+ hours on winding roads.

Keep your eye on http://www.soldeu-andorra.com/winter/en/index.html for more info

 you wish!!!

No transfer for us, we drive down. I reckon 10 hours from Calais as long as the women don't need to stop too often

If you check my countdown link in my sig, you will see my page already links to the mentioned site

First time to Andorra. We are actually going to Soldeu, and staying in the Sport Hotel.

Not really sure why we picked Andorra this year, but hey, tis all booked and I'm pretty much packed already

Sorry, what I meant was that it look like it can be personal choice as to which is the front and back.

Right, I'm no expert on things like this, but a quick check reveals this info, from http://www.gearbuyer.com/products/k2_disorderly_mens.html

Designed with a park specific core profile and center-only mounting position, this ski has balanced and light swingweight for launching off booters, spinning on and off rails, or riding transitions regardless of direction. Its symmetrical sidecut keeps your riding style smooth with consistent arcs while its even flex allows you to lock into presses and butters like never before.

I would have to wonder if a "center-only mount" and "symmetrical sidecut" would mean the skis are Ok either way round.

Hi Ashman, welcome to the forum.

I follow caron-a's advice, and tend to try different resorts whenever possible. If you find something you really like, you can always go back later, and it will be better than before if you had a dodgy trip somewhere else first

I'm just about to do my first trip to Andorra, but I do like Italy for the friendliness of the people. France is great for huge ski areas, but I would not want to go to France during holiday periods. I can also give a massive thumbs up to Canada and Nth America. I also want to try Switzerland and Austria sometime soon.

Now you may think I'm being really general with those comments, but I guess that is the point. There are so many different resorts, and so much variety in those resorts, that at the end of the day as long as the snow is there, you should be able to have a good time wherever you go. It all comes down to personal choice.
Skiing after broken wrist????????

Playing devils advocate here, but surely there is nothing to actually stop him (and therefore rest of family) from going to the resort, so I doubt the insurance would pay for a whole cancellation. They may contribute towards his "loss of skiing" and possibly to the cost of a child minder to look after him while you ski.

Thanks so much for that Tony, really nice to see the effort some people are prepared to put in. I'm glad the days you got in were worth the hassle to get there.
