OK sm4sh, I'm going to risk it and reveal some complete Facebook Albums to anyone who wants a giggle.

These are shots from some of my trips over the last few years.

And finally, one you may not want to see

sm4sh, seriously don't worry. Sorry, I cannot recall the Flora, so can not give any feedback on it. But as stated, there are plenty of places to eat out, and most are pretty good and offer good value.

If it turns out to be bad, just sell your wift to one of the strip joints, and spend the loot on beer

Do you know which rate your desktop gadget is reporting?

Will have to check later, but it will probably be a "bank" rate and not a tourist rate. It is the M$ Windows 7 standard gadget, so probably from a bunch of US banks on MSN somewhere.

Update at 17:24

the gadget data providers are as listed here http://moneycentral.msn.com/inc/Attributions.asp

sm4sh, don't worry too much about the comments on Borovets. The holiday will be what you make of it.

I was in Borovets two seasons ago, and we had terrible snow and did almost no skiing at all for the week, however, that did not stop the people who were beginning from taking lessons and getting on very well. People seem to forget that beginners generally need very little in the way of pistes to be able to ski and learn. 500 yards of gentle to moderate slope will go a long way with a beginner, however a good skier may be looking for 40 miles plus of skiing a day.

The nightlife was cheap and loud, and if you are happy to "party" then great atmosphere can be found in town. Just watch out for some of the seedier places, and listen to your reps. The hotel food was basic, but there are some decent places to eat in town.

I was unlucky enough to get a sinus infection (which had to be cured by surgery) just before I went to Borovets, but despite that I have to admit I had a good time overall, but there were 24 of us and we did have a hectic evening life  however, I personally would not consider going back for another ski trip. Others may well feel different about that, only you can tell.

Which hotel have you booked for?

Thanks. Not sure I can match Tony H's review of ADH though.
