Firstly, welcome to our little forum. Secondly, I don't actually know the answer to your question, but I'd say perhaps invest (or hire) boots for your next trip, I think you will find quite a change in all the equipment since you last skiied!

In case that wasn't the answer you were looking for, try this website http://www.alpedhueznet.com/listings/alpe-d-huez/Airport_Transfers/9/ALL/ALL/ALL

A friend of mine went skiing in the Cairngorms yesterday.
I should add that I mean I hope we get a good winter as far as snow is concerned in all mountainous areas across the world that have ski lifts for snow sports.
He's American isn't he? Works on the Weather Channel (the only decent channel in America).

I hope we do get a good winter (in the Alps), and if you go with what nature has been telling us, its set to be a cold snowy one over here too.

Hurrah!

There used to be a Hofer out of town (a drive away), TonyH will probably be along shortly with a more up to date answer.
Where to go - Early Feb 2011

Hello and welcome.

We are looking to go early Feb (although last minute this year), we normally go by train which gets us an extra 2 days skiing. Its quite hard to find anything in Europe that does more than 7 nights, I'm sure it can be done but it takes a bit of investigating (or someone who's done it and posts better information than me).
I'm not counting anymore because I haven't booked yet but hoping to go early or late Feb.

However, there are only 35 sleeps until Christmas.
