Yes, I've suggested to all the skiers that we should all hire fat skis. Though we've got ski carriage for £50 each way including the internal flight so taking our own is also an option. Some friends went a couple of years ago, so I have a list of recommended eateries. One thing is for sure, the whole trip will be Go Pro'ed! |

Too many bad experiences with Crystal to care about their marketing department's latest attempt at a rebrand.

Same just after new year, I'm doing Alpe D'Huez trip with catered chalet, lift pass, flights, transfers etc all for £650pp, much cheaper booking big group but you shouldn't need to pay that much more for 4 people.

Why not look at Meribel? Much cheaper than Courchevel but same ski area.
What dates are you looking for? You should be able to find a decent chalet with a 2 for 1 lift pass deal. |

What have you looked at so far? And where are you travelling from? Where do you want to go?
£1000 per person is a generous budget. |

Skiers buying drugs? Surely it's those shady snowboarder types?

Have YouTube changed things round again? I don't seem to be able to get the 'long' address any more.

I love Verbier, I'd love to return. But it sounds like the cost is going to prevent that happening. If Switzerland can't compete on price with France, we'll spend our money there instead.
