Hi

Me and three other adults are looking to go skiing in Alps (France or Switzerland) for 1-2 weeks in January 2011. Does any one know how I can find a chalet or an apartment online? There are quite a few accommodation search sites, but which ones I can trust? How do people normally book it?

Thanks.

hey vladiator. holidaylettings.co.uk are good i think they deal direct with the apt owners and from what I know can be cheaper than most. but importantly they can be trusted. I know lots of people who have used them many times.

Go to the Val d'isere site and look for accomindation, you can get some great offers and they also throw in a ski pass of 6 days for Escape Killy for 141 euro. Spending a week from 27 november for 350 which includes accomindation and lift pass

Try the www.ski-france.com they have a lot of apartments to rent, very easy site to search. I used twice and worked, very well.
