BA to Salzburg, and I heard a rumour they are relaunching the Innsbruck route too.
Otherwise its the usual Easyjet/Ryanair nonsense for DIYers.
You might also want to look at Thomson and Thomas Cook for flights only.

Innsbruck is getting used more each season and although I have been alright, I thinks it far more prone to be effected by bad weather than Salzburg. Salzburg airport is only a 5-10 taxi ride or 20 min tram from Salzburg railway station. There are a load of resorts which are less than 90 minutes train ride away. On top of that depending where you go alot of resorts have bus/coach shuttle services to Salzburg airport, but these tend to be timetabled around German inbound flights.

Try Luftanasa & fly into Munich, very reasonable prices which include luggage & ski allowance. £86 return tends to be the average that I pay Manchester to Munich. Onward journey return train fare to say Mayerhofen £60.
DIY it's easy.

Methodology is to tab up the airlines, and try each one with a departure airport of Innsbruck, Salzburg, Munich, and look at where they fly too.
You can get to all 3 from London with Easyjet. Cheaper to go on a Sunday. EG London~ Salzburg Sunday 6th~13th Feb. is £56. Add £18 for a bag, (put your boots inside) Total £74. Add 18.50 for skis.

Or Fly BA and get 25Kg luggage allowance per person which can include skis and boots 8)

Easyjet price to Salzburg will still beat BA price, with or without skis. If you go on the Saturday, Easyjet will hammer the BA price.
If you do take skis, then you will have a much greater residual luggage allowance.
Doing the maths always beats rhetoric.
