If you use an iPhone or an Android; we need your feedback... 8)
An experimental mobile interface to the J2Ski Forum is now online. This is the first step in a major re-vamp of the J2Ski.Mobi site (mobile version of J2Ski.com) so please tell us what you think.
For this season, we are targeting the above two platforms as a priority. The mobile forum should be usable from DOS, er Windows-based mobiles but the poor standards support on those machines may negatively impact your interactive experience...
Point your mobile at http://www.j2ski.mobi/forum/forums/list.page
The majority of forum functionality is available and should be working, albeit with some of the lesser-used features removed to make the pages lighter. Almost all the icons displayed will do something sensible when tapped.
There are some minor layout tweaks to be done but we're keen to get any functional issues ironed out - please report any bugs in replies to this Topic.
As of this first prototype you probably want to avoid the Private Message area if you have lots of saved PMs!
Enjoy, and let us know how it works for you...

Currently there is a bug in that the "Latest Topics" lists can go out of sync between the Mobile and Web versions (they do sync but with a bit of a lag).
The "Last Reply" buttons don't scroll to the last reply (which would be nice).
We'll also add some "Top" and "Bottom" buttons to some of the screens to make scrolling quicker.
It'd be very handy to know which phone and browser versions folk are using, so could you add that information to your replies? TVM.
Good idea - on the todo list!

iPhone 3GS for me on the Safari brower.
It works great. Nicely laid out quick to load. The reply function is good. Nice and clear on the screen with no added clutter.
Thanks :-)

looks nice on my HTC Desire (god I hate that name).
I think a next/prev page button would be nice instead of having to try and hit the hyperlink for the page number. My aim is not always that good on these darned touchscreen.
