This is one of Joe Collins' photos:

These 3 photos were taken by Sinbad14. I would like to say we made these lovely powder trails - but unfortunately it wouldn't be true

The view from our chalet:

This photo was taken by Felthorpe at the end of dinner. I am down the end of the table, and the guy 2nd from the right is not one of us - he was the only 'stranger' in the chalet and he was the father of one of the chalet girls.

The chalet was really well built, with quality furniture - like these lovely tables :)

This is Ade and me, in the sitting room area, taken after dinner by Felthorpe :)

There were 2 adjoining seating areas, with plenty of room for all of us to sit comfortably together whilst we chatted :)

This is one of Joe Collins' photos. He says it's the Face, one of the most fearsome pistes in Val d'Isere/Tignes, and one which (naturally!) we skied down during the week. It is nowhere near as flat as it appears in the photo

And the next photo was taken by Felthorpe, as we came out of the Armailly restaurant on Thursday evening. The chalet staff had the day off so we went out for a meal and used our group discount to pay for it.

This is one of Daved's photos, of Felthorpe and her husband:

This is another of Felthorpe's photos :)
The guy in the apron is Bonjour Tom - the other ski host. These guys had to work really hard. They were out ski-ing with us in the day and showing us around the ski area and the mountain restaurants, and during the evening they had to work in the chalet.

CatP says her photos of the Eye of the Needle (the Aiguille Percee) with her actually sitting in the hole in the rock, didn't come out very well so I asked Bedrock Barney if I could 'borrow' his photo of it, from his holiday in Val d'Isere. The 'Eye' is in the lower left section.

Cat and I skied along the edge of the rock, on an itinerary route, right up to the Eye on the last Sunday, and Cat took her skis off and climbed into the hole in the rock.

I stayed where I was, and the slope was so steep that when I tried to sit down for a rest it was more like leaning on a wall than sitting down

This is one of CatP's photos of the Aiguille Percee taken from the far side - on our way home. I nick-named it 'The Blue Plate' because the first time I saw it last April I thought momentarily it was a blue plate stuck on the rock, until I realized that was totally ridiculous and impossible
The chairlift going up is the Aiguille Percee lift.
