agree with bandit, chamonix would be the best for tough skiing but if youre going when you are fairly sure the snow is good and it HAS to be France id go to Avoriaz-Portes du Solei
If it doesnt HAVE to be Frnace, then Italy is way cheaper and better!

I Think les arcs is the best for skiing plus their are nice bars, we stayed in arc 1950 and it was really nice.
