You can expect to get in queues in many places if you go over Xmas, New Year, Feb Half Term or Easter.

I have only once been in a long queue at Mayrhofen, that was Dec 30th and it was 9.30am, an hour and 15 mins later than I would normally go up, when there are NO queues at all.

As for Sauze, there are no queuse anywhere. Its a cruising paradise, with some lovely runs through the trees too. Cheaper than France, and some cracking places in the village to eat and drink. Italy has a charm of its own.

Austria on the other hand is what I call "proper" skiing.
