I thought I was missing WC skiing - it used to be on Sunday mornings didn't it? How annoying the coverage has been cut - I love watching it :x

Good to hear we finally have some decent home grown talent - let's hope they make us proud.

As previously mentioned Ski Sunday starts this weekend.

What a shame I'll miss it - on account of being in Val d'Isere :D :D :D

Roll on Sunday

funny you should mention that. back in october Mr Bell told me personally that it started on 18th jan so I booked my trip around it. I will be leaving after it and arriving back before the next instalment :D

I gather it'll be over by the time I go away at easter. sorted!

Thanks for asking caron-a.
TJ is injured at the moment, not too badly. He tore the meniscus in his right knee in the middle of Dec. Had some keyhole surgery, was on crutches over christmas, but is now back training in the gym and flies back out to Austria on 22nd.
Everything was going great until the crash. He had already done 1 Europa cup Super g. He was going to leave to do 2 Europa cup Downhills later that afternoon when he crashed in training!
Just 3 days before he had trained Super G with the Austrian World Cup speed team. Klaus Kroell, Hannes Riechelt, Cristoph Grubber, etc; only the Herminator and Walchopher weren't there. He was only 1.8 secs behind Kroell who was the fastest, and most of that was on the flat gliding sections. His split times on the technical sections were almost as quick. So he was going well.
He should hopefully start racing by the start of Feb, go on to do the World Junior champs in March and finish off the season with the Brits in April.
Will have about 25 other FIS races in between.
He's aiming for a top 10 at the World Juniors and to stay in the top 15 in the world for his age in the speed events.
