(hehehe, just spotted my typo but have left it in for fun)
Do you and your “other” both do the same thing?
What kind of environment are you looking for i.e. beginner, distance, intermediate, off-piste, extreme, après ski, culture etc
Do you have some idea of budget? What should that include?
Phew, too many Q’s but it’ll help you get a better answer )

scottdog28 wrote:if you want it cheap and your not bothered about where your going. the cheapest week seems to be rite after the new year ie the 3rd of january. call the ski chalet operators up and get a shared accomodation deal. just say ur not bothered about where and theyll find you the cheapest. they always have a few beds left and cant afford to not sell them.
Yes, good shout. Get yourself on a late deal in a partly filled chalet full board with free wine. Skiworld or catered-ski-chalets would be my first port of call.

Me and my 'other' are looking for a boarding holiday with an intermediate environment.
Could realistically do with spending less than £200 each for flights and accomodation, is that possible?
We've got all our own gear so the only thing we'd need to buy would be the passes.
Thanks
:D

For a cheap lift pass, the end of the season is best i have found (last skiable week) i usually go to Les Arcs for the last week (season ends 25th april, last skiable day, this season). :(
For the last week the passes are half price (normally) and on the very last day they usually wave the cost altogether, but i normally pay by the day and not for a full pass at the start of the week. :D
I am not sure what other resorts charge for the last week though, also the snow is more often than not excellent which has been the case over the last 4 - 5 years, with even a good foot or so of fresh snow :D
All the best
jon.
