Yes Tony, I thought the 2 for xmas were incredable deals, too good to be true so I checked them out yesterday and I can confirm that they were still available and not just some gimic promotion. Looking like great vfm is available for those who want it / can aford it this time.

In my experience the free/cheap child places can really keep the price down for families. This year, my trip is costing nearly €900 for adults and the child places are €269 (with Crystal). Even allowing for the underoccupancy supplements and exclusion from the group discount, it still works out at about €400 less than paying adult price . I don't consider that a con .

Sorry Wanderer, its the late booking deals I was mainly taking about. Sometimes the prices for kids start to become higher or similar to adult prices once discounting starts. This means that you pay a similar price for adult and kids but the kids ar not counted has full fare paying and therefore are not included when it comes to under occupancy. I have known it to be £250 less for me to book 3 adults than it was to book 2 adults and 1 kid.
You will have booked at brochure prices which usually means the kids discount are worth taking.
