Whoops!! Just practising what the quote and edit things do- modern technology!!

One other thought. If I had damaged my hamstrings would I not have had any discomfort since? I am pretty fit at the minute and do not get any pain when I do any form of exercise. Just wondering.

sued wrote:Thanks guys for all your useful advice and I will go and see a sports physio. I have only been skiing for a couple of weeks and although the head knows what to do, the body just won't cooperate- very annoying!
I have booked myself in for another week of group lessons and hopefully I can gain a bit more confidence and control- that's the plan anyway.

Tino_11, I hope your roids recover. In fact maybe it wasn't a nosebleed you had on the slopes afterall!!! (I am hoping you get my Geordie humour!!)

I think I can cope with the Geordie humour, Lived there for most my life )

God luck with your next trip, hope you get rid of the pain!!

doesn't sound like hamstring tbh, although I'm no expert so get someone to check. Sounds more like you've pulled a groin muscle. As said further up the thread, make sure you do plenty of stretches to warm up first.
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!
