Dont worry Tony - the apres ski is optional and is not in your face 8).

We are not talking Sauze here . In some resorts, you can get lager louts who happen to ski a little bit if they are not too hungover . In St Anton its different - more a case of skiers who want to have a bit of fun after a full day of awesome skiing  . If you want to avoid it, it is easy and there are plenty of classes for a quiet and classy beer if thats what you prefer :!:.

One of the best resorts in the world. Great skiing, epic apres ski!
You won't find too much about it from The Ski Club of Gt Britain as they had a spat with the resort a couple of years ago and now don't have reps there.
The Krazy Kangaroo is imfamous. Not least as it's a couple of hundred meters up the mountain and you ski down in the dark a little worse for ware!
If you are good off piste skiers, get a guide and ski the North Face of the Valluga. Serious skiing.

Tony,

Justgot an extra days holiday approved and booked my train tickets. Will be in St. Anton for 4 nights beginning Jan 3rd, first day on the hill Jan 4th.

Also I just realised this resort is perfect for travel from here, I can do it with 1 change door to door! getting to Mayrhofen takes between 3 and 4.

78 EUR :D
