I think he means £251pp including flights. You dont normnally book accommodation only with Neilson.
If its with flights, its not a bad price, but you could hold on and get something far better for the same money. I did half board in mayrhofen in Feb 2007 for £229 booking about 6 weeks in advance, but my best deal was a catered chalet in Verbier for £260pp. Both were all in packages with flights, transfers, etc.
As for Rauris, its not somewhere I would head for personally. Its far too limited, and not linked to any other resorts. I'd pass this deal up if I were you. You will get something much better if you wait.

agreed, 250 s/c is average, not cheap.
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!

Hi souldrive,

We love Rauris and we are intermediates. It is a small village, but its beautiful and there is loads to explore. The ski runs are for beginners to intermediates with excellent english speaking ski schools, offering 5 days tuition and equipment hire all in for 190euro, which is a great deal. Plenty to occupy a group for a week or more. Many people return there year on year, as there are very few queues to worry about and you get some space on the piste. It depends what you are looking for. Zell am See is only 20 mins away by regular bus and if you have a hire car you can ski a different area every day! The salzburgerland super ski card covers a massive area for this. Look at the Raurisertal tourist website for more info

That deal for £250 to Rauris does seem reasonable, although I have found much better deals than that over the past few years. I wouldnt rush to book it. Bear in mind I paid £260 for a week in Verbier last March, flights transfers and catered chalet, and it kind of puts it into perspective. I have also had a weeks half board in Sauze for £129 in 2007, although those kind of deals only rarely come around. I am heading for Serre Che for £350 in March including flights, tranfers and full board, if that helps put that deal into context.
You will find better deals if you are prepared to wait and spend time looking around.
