Oi. What's that got to do with holiday prices? Do keep up and stick to the subject... 8)

...pertaining to which... I reckon prices will go up now as the TOs try to counter the exchange rate changes, but pretty sure there'll be plenty of late deals left after our crunchy credit dampens early bookings.

Oh yes, particularly looking forward to snapping up a late deal for March 09.

March 09 is looking like a safe bet, where to Tony
I would have got away with it if it wasn't for those pesky kids!

Not sure yet, but I see Crystal are doing 2 for 1 lift passes if you book in the next few weeks for a handful of resorts, including Selva, Zermatt, Verbier and Serre Che. Nice.

Tony, I remember you once said that Zermatt was on your hitlist. If you can get that kind of deal, (2 for 1), then given the international lift pass price of £216, you would save a lot.

Can recommend Hotel Atlantic as a quiet hotel, modest cost, in the town. Good food, no bar after the meal. Mostly German-speaking guests, which I prefer. At that time of year, pay the £4.50/day for a mountain view. Think they are Inghams though.

Cheers Dave. I will certainly be looking into it.

Looks like its going to be best to wait for the late deals then.

I dont know if any of you guys have heard the news this morning, But Simon Calder was on This Morning and mentioned that a couple more air lines well 3 to be exact were in Serious financal trouble. He was unable to mention the names on air but i think its a stark warning to anyone booking flight only holidays.

I know theres a fair few of you who make your own travel arrangements and i would hate to see your holidays going belly up. I dont know if anyone knows how to access more info.
