You can take the skiier out of the dryslope but you can't take the dryslope out of the skiier :D

If I find a run I like I will tend to ski it until somebody forces me to ski somewhere else. The Ahorn in Maryhofen was a bit like that. Not difficult, not steep, possibly a bit dull but I could have happily skied it all day if I had been on my own.

Ah yes, the Ebbenwald, a particular favourite of mine and Skidaddles. Along with Red 7. You do tend to ski certain runs over and over again if you like them.
I recall skiing red 7 one day top to bottom, the sun was out, it was quiet on the slopes, and the snow was packed but still relatively smooth and soft, absolutely perfect. And then the next time I went up there, they had had about 2 feet of fresh snow overnight, and it was a struggle to stand up in some parts. I guess thats kind of what this whole skiing thing is about at the end of the day.

I know exactly what you mean, Keith.

For me its great to find several good reds in a resort and try to ski them better as the holiday progresses, until I feel I'm skiing them quickly, directly and hopefully still with a bit of style too!

As long as I've ski-d enough each dayI feel I've accomplished more, like this, rather than thrashing round everywhere on the map.

We're all different though...
